Gronya Somerville on the Tokyo Olympics, Athlete’s Mindset, Mental Health & more

I’m stoked to have the lovely Gronya Somerville on this ep. It was amazing to connect with her and get behind the scenes of the mindset, training and motivation of a professional athlete.

Gronya is a professional badminton athlete who is set to compete in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. She placed 4th at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. And won championships like the Canada Open and US International in the Women’s Doubles in 2019. Amongst a slew of Oceania titles.

We talk all about mindset, motivation and mental health – fave topics of mine!
