Sweat Trainer Kelsey Wells on Redefining Yourself, Why Diet Culture is Toxic and The Key to Change

I am beyond thrilled to welcome our first guest of the season. On her what is now her 18th visit to Australia to visit Kayla Itsines and the Sweat team, I was fortunate to sit down with the beautiful Kelsey Wells, Sweat Trainer, creator of the PWR programs (and many others) and host of the Redefine Fitness Podcast.

With such openness and vulnerability, Kelsey shares her own struggles with hitting that low point in her life where she struggled with her mental and emotional health, self talk and physical. And what propelled her to ultimately change her life.

We also talk about dealing with pressure on women during their pregnancy to be perfect, eat healthy and be fit. And how postpartum depression and anxiety played a huge part in Kelsey’s journey.

Kelsey also talks about the dangerous rhetoric around diet culture, why shaming yourself is never the answer, how you can’t hate yourself into self-love and why if awareness is the catalyst then acceptance is the bridge to action.

She is on a mission to help women around the world love themselves more.

You will love Kelsey and this episode.
