Keep It Cleaner Master Trainer Leo Forchin on Growing Through Fitness, Letting Go of Perfection & Being More Authentically You

What a treat it is to have the wonderful Leo Forchin on the pod this week! The newest Keep It Cleaner Master Trainer and all round ball of positive energy, Leo is also a trainer at Barry’s Bootcamp, United Ride, Tribute Boxing and manager at Strong Pilates Richmond. And funnily enough, although we have both been around the health and wellness space for quite a while (we even coach out of the same studio), we only met in person a few weeks ago.

In this episode, Leo kindly shares with me how he grew up in East London, traditionally known for being the grittier side of town, how he lost he mum at the age of 13 and how fitness was able to help him channel his emotions of loss and anger into something positive.

We also talk about the importance of finding a safe space to express emotions through boxing. With his professional boxing debut coming up, we also get stuck into his prep for this fight and the important attribute of being ‘coachable’.

Leo also gives you his tips on how to stay motivated, how to let go of the pressure of social media and perfection and why really understanding your inner values is the key to weathering life’s challenges.

Make sure you take a listen!
