Jess Spinner on Dealing with Food, Body Pressure, Judgement, Restrictive Dieting and more

I’m super excited to have the beautiful Jessica Spinner on the pod this week.

Jess is a former professional dancer with the Louisville Ballet. She is also the founder of The Whole Dancer and has worked with professional dancers from top companies including New York City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet and more.

Jess and I go way back to my earlier days as a coach and it was amazing to connect with her again and chat all about some great topics like transforming your relationship with your body and food, the idea of perfection and the ‘ideal body’, dealing with emotions without using food and the evolution of The Whole Dancer.

Take a listen!
