I’ve got diverse background across health and wellness disciplines and one of the things I have studied is positive psychology.
Studies in the field around happiness suggest that 50% of our happiness set point comes from our genetics, whilst 10% is generated by external circumstances and the remaining 40% comes down to intentional activities – the thoughts and behaviours we take on a day to day basis.
While we can’t control the genetic lottery, and yes we can affect our external circumstances to some degree, we most definitely can control our day to day intentional activities. Listen on for my top 3 happiness practices!
